Four Seasons in One Day

Four seasons in one day… the lyrics written by Neil Finn and released as a single in 1992, describe the emotional roller coaster, that he and his brother Tim were on while residing in Melbourne. Ironically it also describes the weather we are challenged with; the weather is taking us on an emotional roller coaster - the world is changing. Our hearts go out to all those people whose lives have been distorted and altered by the weather.

In our own Alpine world, we have faced weather challenges with the building of our new Sugarloaf Restaurant and Villas. I am always amazed at the contractors whose mission it is to complete the project turning up through winter’s rain, wind, hail, and snow. We thank you for putting in the ‘hard yards.’

It is so exciting to see the results of a team effort… daily.

It is when the sun comes out that we celebrate our local legends throughout New Zealand and realise what a great bunch ‘Team New Zealand’ is.
