Accommodation

The Homestead provides, for your intimate group of up to 8 guests, 4 king rooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, writing desk and internet access, all within a luxuriously appointed bedroom.

FLOCKHILL Station is far removed from the crowds in a spectacular location that inspires adventure and exploration. The Station is an exclusive wilderness where there is nothing manufactured. We can craft itineraries to suit personal preferences encompassing adventure, quest, and discovery, all motivated by mother nature.

Getting Here

FLOCKHILL Lodge is an hour and a half drive from Christchurch International and Domestic Airport, giving you a variety of options for arrival:

Arrive by helicopter and enjoy an incredibly scenic journey over the patchwork Canterbury Plains, the braided river of the Waimakariri, the snowy peaks of the Alps, and the lush beech forests of the valleys.
Arrive on the Tranzalpine, one of the great railway journeys of New Zealand, coast to coast through the Southern Alps.
Arrive by a chauffeured vehicle along the Great Alpine Highway, which continues past our FLOCKHILL gates.
