A Taste of Wilderness at Sugarloaf

Sugarloaf…it invokes potential deliciousness. This is the name of FLOCKHILL’s developing restaurant. Guests will experience carefully crafted, open-flame dining, eating sustainably and seasonally. Capturing a refined wildness from the lands that surround them, a juxtaposition of raw nature with elegant cuisine. Heavy attentive prep will allow the dishes to be simple, letting complex flavours develop with each bite.

Sugarloaf is nestled in the Southern Alps between the east coast and west which allows us to forage and procure native, local, and home-grown produce, both from the land, sea, and freshwater ways. Sugarloaf will enrich what is the essence of New Zealand.
